Description

Soft, chewy cookies packed with melty chocolate chips and crunchy walnuts.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add to wet ingredients.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts.
  6. Scoop onto baking sheets, 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Cool before serving.
